To dry a 400 GSM sweatshirt (which is thick, high-quality, and more delicate due to its dense fabric), the best way to preserve its shape, softness, and longevity is to avoid high heat and friction. Here’s the recommended method:

✅ Best Drying Method: Air Dry Flat

1. Gently Squeeze (Don’t Wring): After washing, press out excess water by rolling it in a towel or gently pressing it with your hands.
2. Lay Flat on a Clean, Dry Towel: Place it on a dry towel on a flat surface, away from direct sunlight or heaters.
3. Reshape While Damp: Smooth it out and reshape the sleeves, collar, and body so it dries in its natural form.
4. Flip Occasionally: Turn it over every few hours to allow both sides to dry evenly and avoid damp spots or mildew.

⚠️ Avoid These

• Tumble drying on high heat: It can shrink, weaken fibers, or cause pilling.
• Hanging: This may stretch the shoulders and distort the shape, especially when wet.
• Direct sunlight: Can fade the color and make the fabric stiff over time.

✅ Optional: Low-Heat Machine Dry (if necessary)

If you’re in a rush and must use a dryer:

• Use a low heat or “air fluff” setting
• Toss in a few dryer balls to help it dry more evenly
• Remove while still slightly damp and lay flat to finish drying
